From Magic to Mastery
My fascination with magic began on a childhood trip to Disney World. Amid the thrill of pirates and princesses, I was captivated by the park’s seamless blend of storytelling and wonder. This wasn’t the kind of magic reserved for wizards or sorcerers—it was crafted by dreamers, artists, and innovators. Every detail, from subtle temperature shifts to evocative scents, worked together to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. It was my first glimpse into how intentional design could create experiences that leave a lasting impact.
As I grew, that initial spark evolved into a deeper exploration of magic—not just as entertainment but as a way of thinking. I immersed myself in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and even hobbies like card tricks and tarot. I became fascinated by how magicians and illusionists captivate their audiences with empathy, storytelling, and perception. But what intrigued me most was how these principles could be applied beyond the stage—specifically, to leadership.
Fantasy stories also played a role in shaping my perspective. Tales of Merlin, Frodo, and Harry Potter reveal a universal truth: the hero’s journey is about using hard-earned tools to turn challenges into triumphs. For me, the magic of these stories wasn’t about spells—it was about transformation, resilience, and connection. I began to see parallels between the tools of magicians and the tools leaders need to inspire and connect: reframing challenges, crafting compelling narratives, and creating moments of joy and wonder.
This realization became the foundation of Everyday Magic—a philosophy that blends the timeless artistry of magicians with actionable strategies for leadership. Everyday Magic is about adopting a magician’s mindset: seeing opportunities where others see obstacles, crafting experiences that delight and inspire, and unlocking the potential in people and teams. It’s not about tricks; it’s about turning the impossible into the possible and creating moments that captivate and connect.
Today, as the head of Data, Measurement, and Analytics at Google, I oversee a multi-billion-dollar portfolio and help businesses navigate the complexities of AI, privacy, and innovation. Over two decades in technology, ad tech, and marketing tech, I’ve learned to see around corners—identifying problems, potential, and solutions before they become obvious.
My career is defined by a passion for innovation and a consultative, solutions-driven approach. I’ve closed more than 500 deals, driven exponential business results, and inspired high-performing teams. But what matters most to me is the opportunity to unlock the hidden potential in others, empowering them to achieve extraordinary outcomes.
Outside of work, I live in Brooklyn with my husband and two children. I find joy in watercoloring, pilates, and immersing myself in the pages of a good fantasy book. Magic, to me, isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you make. Everyday Magic is my way of sharing that belief, helping leaders and teams transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
